      Local presence, responsibility, solidarity
The Group's corporate governance is guided by the three principles of local presence, responsibility and solidarity.

A local presence in human, geographical and operational terms
With 2,500 sales outlets, Groupama has an extensive commercial network that is further enhanced at the local level by the dedication of the elected members from the local and regional mutuals. This local presence makes for close customer relationships based on attention to, and awareness of customer needs.

      Shared responsibility
Groupama has a highly decentralized organization, delegating responsibility at all local, regional and national levels. Policyholders' representatives are held accountable by those who elected them for all their decisions and the consequences of those decisions.

      Financial and human solidarity
Solidarity is a founding principle for Groupama, and is reflected at every level of decision-making: the development of policy offers, in risk mitigation, or the processing and settlement of claims. This solidarity is both human and financial. When natural disasters occur, the full force of the network is brought into play.
