One intern's story
Being a Groupama trainee was unexpected, but I knew I could do it. After two interviews held by the market department and the general manager respectively, I joined this world’s fortune 500 company and began to get quite a different experience compared to my college student life.
I came here with a conscientious heart; fortunately, the neat and orderly work environment greatly relived my nervousness. With green as its main color, the office displays a fresh and clean feeling.. My feelings about Groupama cannot be as grand as those described in novels, but I feel peaceful, happy and natural here, like green itself, and already feel inseparable with this workplace.
It's not been long since I came here, however, in the past month, I experienced a change of role which I don't think I could have had on campus. First I took training in basic insurance knowledge, and then I went to the sales department with French trainees to get familiar with the basic operations of the company and the writing, translating and sorting of documents. This variety of work was refreshingly different from campus life, and though it I came to understand the pressure and urgency of responsibility. Luckily, thanks to the supervision and patient teaching of my boss, I'm being more and more familiar with all aspects of the company's work.
Just as Groupama says, "Donnons à la vie toutes ses chances", and different people hold various attitudes when faced with opportunities. For me, getting the chance of work experience in Groupama is just the first step; it's the beginning of cherishing new chances as well as the end of making good use of last chance. With international operations practices and teamwork, for me, a fresh graduate, Groupama is a precious place of training and education. I believe that when the chances come, only hardwork can ensure me an experience without regret; thanks to Groupama for giving me the chance.
