Groupama has consistently innovated to anticipate and meet its members and policyholders' needs, to differentiate itself from its competitors and to preserve its lead. The most recent innovations include highly original products and services that have already proven attractive to both individuals and companies. A specific department was in fact set up in 2007 to boost the role of innovation within the Group's strategy and its projects.
Innovation affects all aspects of life, and Groupama has launched the first satellite beacon warning service that is handled by Sécurité Sans Frontières (Safety without Borders); the Group has introduced a new version of its leading Groupama Santé Active (Active Health) policy, designed Groupama Renfort (Fallback) the first insurance and services product to secure household budgets, and has introduced a new Internet-based insurance brand in France called Amaguiz.com.
For companies, Groupama has strengthened its ties with the consultancy professions and the managers of a VSEs and SMEs through its partnership with Cegid and Réseau Entreprendre, and has created Deexit, a group benefit blog specifically for brokers working with the Gan Eurocourtage Group Insurance Market Department.
