On September 12^th, Groupama SA Chengdu donated personal accident insurance and comfort gifts to teachers in LiBing Primary School, once named Dujiangyan Xingfu Primary School. The company also donated a large numbers of stationery sports goods to students in the school. The expenses of the whole activity came from Groupama senior managers in Asia-pacific and Groupama staffs. During the earthquake, staffs in Groupama SA Chengdu Branch voluntarily donated over 20, 000 Yuan to victims. Some of the donations have been used for Groupama employees who suffered from earthquake.

 

General Manager Weidong Yu delivered his respects to teachers in the earthquake-stricken zone who ignored their own safety to rescue students and properties when the catastrophe came, showing teachers' great courage and selfless dedication. Some eachers even sacrificed their lives. To show deep respect to teachers, Groupama decided to donate these personal accident insurance and comfort gifts.
