Groupama SA Chengdu Branch and ABC Sichuan Branch held the kick-off meeting for insurance business on June12^th,  2008. General Manager Mr. Weidong Yu, COO Mr. Louis and ABC's Bank Insurance Manager Li Hua presented in the meeting. Manager Yu spoke highly of the cooperation between Groupama SA Chengdu Branch and ABC Sichuan Branch in the past year and was confident about the future cooperation of the two sides. Mr. Lihua thanked Groupama headquarters for giving great support to the cooperation between the two sides. He also briefly analyzed the gains and losses of the cooperation in the past one year. Mr. Li said there would be great challenges and opportunities in the coming year due to the effects of the 5.12 Earthquake in Wenchuan and encouraged employees to work harder. Later, Mr. Louis introduced to the conferees the developing situation of various Groupama insurance businesses, reported company's activities during the earthquake and promulgated the schedule of releasing time of Groupama's new products in 2008. In the end, both sides exchanged ideas about the economy recovery and other issues after the earthquake. The meeting was going on in a friendly and cordial atmosphere. After the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction for the meeting and agreed this was a good platform for communications. The whole activities had great help for the development of cooperation and would facilitate the staff' work.
